Taft College Women's Soccer Secures Victory Over College of the Sequoias in Central Valley Conference

In a crucial Central Valley Conference soccer showdown, the Taft College Cougars triumphed over the College of the Sequoias Lady Giants with a narrow 1-0 win. The match, held at TUHS on a mild sunny day, showcased a competitive edge, with the Cougars emerging victorious. The lone goal from Dayana Martinez, assisted by Faith LeLouis, was enough to seal the match for Taft College on November 4, 2025. Martinez's goal proved to be the game-changer for the Cougars. The well-executed play, orchestrated with precision by Faith LeLouis, allowed Martinez to score effectively making it the only and therefore the game-winning goal of the match. In goal, Kiana Gordon played a pivotal role, keeping the opposing Lady Giants at bay throughout the match to maintain a clean sheet. With this victory, the Taft College Women's Soccer team pushes their season's record to 11-6-1 overall, with a conference tally of 9-4-0. Looking ahead, the Cougars are set to face Clovis College in their next game scheduled for November 7, 2025, in Fresno, CA.
