Tree of Life Christian School Trojans Compete in OHSAA Boys - D3 - C: Sect: Oakhaven Tournament
The Tree of Life Christian School Trojans participated in the OHSAA Boys - D3 - C: Sect: Oakhaven golf tournament on September 23, 2025, at the Oakhaven golf course. The competition saw the high school boys' team facing a robust lineup of contenders including Northmor, Centerburg, Berne Union, Granville Christian Academy, Madison-Plains, and Shekinah Christian. Utilizing a match format of Team Gross Strokes where the top four of five members' scores are counted, the Trojans put forth a determined effort amidst a day of mixed weather conditions, including clouds and sunshine with a bit of rain early in the day. Despite the challenging weather, the team stayed focused on their performance. Among the Trojans, notable performances were turned in by Sophomore Isaac Padgett, who scored 107, and Freshman Miles George, who followed closely with a score of 108. The Trojan individual competitors scored slightly higher than their averages for the year and collectively finished 7th as a team. As the day concluded, the Trojans had demonstrated their capabilities and sportsmanship in a competitive and challenging Oakhaven course and sectional environment, representing Tree of Life Christian School with grace and determination. The teams from Northmor and Centerburg advanced to the District Championship after finishing first and second respectively. Granville Christian's Aiden Geiger advanced as an individual qualifier.
