Tree of Life Christian School Trojans Fall to Granville Christian in Golf Match
On a perfect 78-degree day at The Mastadon Golf Club, the Tree of Life Christian Trojans faced off against Granville Christian in the Dual Match on September 9, 2025. This varsity golf match, held under optimal weather conditions, was part of the regular season encounters involving high school teams. The Trojans, led by top performer Shepherd Cradic who shot a 47, competed in a 9-hole stroke play format. However, Tree of Life recorded a team score of 218 against Granville Christian's competitive 160. The performance highlighted challenges on the course, noted for its tricky small undulating greens, which significantly tested the golfers' skills and patience. Coach Holahan reflected on the match emphasizing the high caliber of the opposition. "Granville Christian is likely one of the best teams in MOCAL and they displayed great skill and sportsmanship," he stated, underscoring the strengths of the opponents and the tricky conditions on the afore-mentioned greens. Looking ahead, the Trojans are set to conclude their MOCAL (Mid-Ohio Christian Athletic League) regular season, which will be highlighted by the 18 hole MOCAL tournament on Tuesday, September 16th at Cumberland Trail in Pataskala. The next match is critical as the team aims to solidify their standings within the league and get ready for the Central District Sectional tournament on Tuesday 9/23 at Oakhaven golf course in Delaware OH.
