Tree of Life Christian School Trojans Golf Team Competes at Blacklick Woods
The Tree of Life Christian High School Trojans golf team faced off in a keenly contested event against Worthington Christian at Blacklick Woods Golf Course on August 28th, marking a significant day for the young team with a mix of seasoned players and newcomers. The match featured teams composed of four boys and two girls each, facing a challenging 9-hole course with 3 par fours and 6 par threes. Tree of Life Christian School posted a combined score of 208, falling short against Worthington Christian's 176. Among the Trojans, Will Clunk led with the lowest score, carding a 45. Highlighting the developmental nature of the event, the coach noted the importance of providing real-match experience to players who had never before played a round of golf. This learning-focused approach underlines the school's commitment to nurturing emerging talent. The Trojans are set to continue their season with their next middle school match on September 2nd against Worthington Christian at Rolling Meadows Golf Club near Marysville.
