Tree of Life Christian School Trojans Host Middle School Golf Match
The Tree of Life Christian School Trojans participated in a middle school golf event against Liberty Christian at Blacklick Woods Golf Course on August 26, 2025. This competition featured both boys and girls from the middle school level, showcasing a co-ed format that emphasized skill development and sportsmanship. During the 9-hole stroke play match the Trojans recorded a team score of 192 while Liberty Christian ended with 181, securing a win over the Trojans. Despite the team's overall scoring difference, individual Trojans players shined during the event. James McDaniel led his team with a personal best score of 33, followed by Will Clunk who shot a respectable 45. Coach Kimple commended the resilience of players Rylei Domeck, Nataliah Rodriguez, Timmy Sierra, and Liz Respecki, as they rebounded well from early adversity, aided by solid team support and encouragement. This was particularly significant for Timmy Sierra, who was playing his first middle school match and successfully overcame initial nerves. Player Nataliah Rodriguez, alongside James McDaniel, expressed eagerness to face off against Worthington Christian in their next scheduled event on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
