Tree of Life Christian School Trojans Secure a Victory Over Mansfield Christian

In an impressive display, the Tree of Life Christian School varsity girls' volleyball team clinched a win against the Mansfield Christian Flames on August 21, 2025. The non-conference clash saw the Trojans dominating the court and emerging victorious in all three sets of this regular season matchup. The Trojans began their match applying strong offensive pressure, which translated into a first-set victory of 25-21. The momentum continued as they overpowered the Flames in the second set, taking it 25-15. The third set proved to be the most challenging, yet the Trojans showcased their resilience by clinching the set 26-24, thereby sealing their clean sweep in the match. Key players were pivotal in this victory, with Autumn Sanders, Libby Homkes, and Abby Sanders leading in kills, ensuring aggressive play at the net. Autumn Sanders, alongside Allie Coleman and Klark Wilkinson, led the defensive plays with crucial blocks that thwarted many of the Flames' scoring attempts. Reflecting on the victory, Coach Kilian praised the team's defense: 'The last two days in practice we worked really hard on our defense and you could tell tonight. We did a great job covering the court and picking up balls that we were letting drop earlier this week.' Looking ahead, the Trojans are set to face Genoa Christian School on August 22, 2025, at Genoa. This upcoming game is a critical opportunity for the Trojans to build on their current record of 1-1 and continue their winning streak.
