Tree of Life Christian School Trojans Secure Volleyball Victory Over Genoa Christian Academy
In a thrilling series of games, the Tree of Life Christian School Trojans girls' varsity volleyball team were victorious over Genoa Christian Academy on August 22, 2025. Playing in the Brenda Frecka Athletic Complex, the Trojans showcased their skills and team spirit across four hard-fought sets. The Trojans dominated the first set 25-11. However, Genoa Christian Academy bounced back in the second set, taking it 25-21. Undeterred, the Trojans regained their momentum, winning the third set 25-14 and concluding the match with a solid 25-18 in the fourth set, sealing their triumph. Allie Coleman and Megan Donnally both had 4 aces each. Libby Homkes led the Trojans in aces with 6, aiding the team's efforts to secure the win. The victory improves the Trojans’ season record to 2-1. Looking ahead, the team is set to face Shekinah Christian School at home on August 26, 2025.
