Tree of Life Christian School Trojans Triumph Over Whetstone High in a Stellar Soccer Match
In a commanding performance on their home field, the Tree of Life Christian School High School Varsity Girls Soccer team, the Trojans, took a decisive victory against the Whetstone High School Braves. The match on August 21, 2025, ended in a celebratory 6-1 win, giving the team their first victory of the regular season. The Trojans dominated from the start, achieving a robust 4-0 lead by halftime. Key contributors to the scoreline included Katelyn Homkes and Mia Caruso, each netting two goals. Abbie Liston and Emma Risheil also made significant contributions with one goal each, taking the team to a six-goal finish. Strategic plays were evident, particularly with two goals originating from corner kicks—one deflecting off an opposing player and another scored directly from the corner. In the goal, Nasya Swart pitched a shout-out before being replaced by backup goalie Adele Nealy in her first ever Varsity action in goal.
