Tree of Life Christian School Trojans Volleyball Achieves Historic Season Success

The Tree of Life Christian School Trojans girls' varsity volleyball team concluded an extraordinary season, reaching unprecedented milestones and emerging with a strong winning record of 17-9. Led by first year head coach Kasey Kilian, the Trojans demonstrated immense growth and resilience throughout the season. The Trojans excelled beyond expectations by reaching the District Final, marking the furthest advancement in the school's volleyball history. Further adding to their historic season, captain Autumn Sanders achieved a remarkable personal milestone by recording her 1000th kill, a testament to her skill and leadership. Several players received accolades for their exceptional performances. Autumn Sanders was honored both as the League Player of the Year and the Central District Player of the Year. Megan Donnally and Abby Sanders received League Honorable Mentions, with Donnally also being named to the Central District 2nd Team and Abby Sanders securing a spot on the District 1st Team. Mimi Cochran was recognized with a Central District Honorable Mention. Senior captain Autumn Sanders reflected on the season, "I am very proud of the growth this season, with skill level as well as mental toughness. And how we were able to push through when the season wasn’t going the best. We showed lots of grit and determination which really payed off in the end." Senior captain Mimi Cochran also said, "This season has been a joy to experience. The way the team grew and overcame the mental and physical battles that were before us, was so amazing to see! I’m so thankful to have experienced this season as my senior season! I’m so grateful to be able to look back and be proud of the strength this team had to go to District Finals!" Coach's remarks mirrored these sentiments, emphasizing that the hard work during summer and the season has set a foundation for future successes. With the taste of success in the district tournament, the Trojans are geared up and eager for another impressive run next year.
