Tree of Life Shoots 208 Against Liberty Christian
PATASKALA, Ohio - Tree of Life Christian School posted a team score of 208 in a 183-208 loss to Liberty Christian on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The Trojans were led by Garrison Burns and Isaac Padgett, who matched each other with rounds of 47.
The matching scores gave Tree of Life two steady rounds at the top of its lineup. Garrison Burns and Isaac Padgett shared the Trojans’ team lead, finishing 12 strokes behind the match’s top individual score.
Liberty Christian’s MJ Glenn earned medalist honors with a 1-under-par 35. That low round helped Liberty Christian build separation in the team standings and finish with a 25-stroke advantage over Tree of Life.
The match was scheduled for a 4:45 p.m. start in Pataskala. Conditions were mainly clear with a temperature of 75 degrees and winds at 5 mph, providing a relatively calm setting for the competition.
Isaac’s score was his best of the season on a relatively tough golf course! Coach Scott is happy with team performance despite the loss.
