Tree of Life Sweeps Delaware Christian Behind Aggressive Serving

DELAWARE, Ohio - Tree of Life Christian School opened up the offense with aggressive serving and consistent attacks Tuesday, sweeping the Delaware Christian Eagles 25-6, 25-15, 25-9. The Trojans needed only three sets to secure the 3-0 varsity girls volleyball victory.

Tree of Life established control immediately, serving Delaware Christian out of rhythm while rolling to a 25-6 first-set win. That early pressure gave the Trojans opportunities to transition into their attack, and they took advantage with steady swings and efficient finishes. The 19-point opening margin set the tone for a focused performance.

The Eagles offered more resistance in the second set, but the Trojans continued to dictate play from the service line. Tree of Life worked through the tighter stretches, kept their attack consistent and pulled away for a 25-15 victory. The Trojans then carried that momentum into the third set, closing the match emphatically with a 25-9 decision.

Megan Donnally powered the serving effort with 25 serves and nine aces, repeatedly putting the Eagles under pressure. Klark Wilkinson added 19 serves and five aces, giving Tree of Life another dependable threat from behind the end line. Together, their 14 aces helped the Trojans create separation throughout the match.

Tree of Life also found efficiency at the net. Libby Homkes hit .368, while Klark Wilkinson posted a .333 hitting percentage as the Trojans converted the opportunities created by their serving and passing. Megan Donnally directed the offense with 19 assists, helping multiple attackers contribute to a balanced three-set performance.

The Trojans outscored Delaware Christian 75-30 across the match, with each set showcasing the same winning formula: assertive serving, controlled offense and consistent attacking. The sweep provided an encouraging early-season result and a strong team performance for Tree of Life.
