Tree of Life Christian School brought energy and consistent serving pressure to the road Friday, sweeping Liberty Christian 25-13, 25-22, 25-15. The Trojans piled up 11 aces and 31 kills in the 3-0 victory, opening the holiday weekend with a complete team performance.
The Trojans established their rhythm immediately, taking the opening set 25-13. Tough serves repeatedly pushed Liberty Christian out of system and limited its ability to build an attack. That pressure gave Tree of Life opportunities to control play at the net and deliver an emphatic start to the match.
Liberty Christian offered its strongest challenge in the second set, but Tree of Life stayed composed in the closest frame of the night. The Trojans continued attacking and serving aggressively to earn a 25-22 win, moving within one set of the sweep. Libby Homkes helped drive the offense with a team-high nine kills, while Allie Coleman supplied eight kills and four aces.
Tree of Life closed the match decisively with a 25-15 victory in the third set. Klark Wilkinson made an impact at the net, posting a .500 hitting percentage and four blocks. Her efficient attacking and defensive presence complemented a balanced effort that kept Liberty Christian from finding sustained scoring momentum.
Megan Donnally directed the Trojans' 31-kill attack with 22 assists and added four aces from the service line. Coleman and Donnally combined for eight of Tree of Life's 11 aces, underscoring the serving consistency that shaped all three sets.
