Trojans Face Challenge at MOCAL Tri-Match at Bent Tree Golf Club

The Tree of Life Christian School High School Trojans participated in the MOCAL Tri-match on September 2, 2025, at Bent Tree Golf Club, where they faced off against Genoa Christian and Delaware Christian in a varsity level competition. The golf match adopted a 9-hole stroke play format, witnessing the Trojans score a total of 212, trailing behind Genoa Christian who led with 194, while Delaware Christian placed third with 275.

Top individual performances from the Trojans included Isaac Padgett with a score of 50, closely followed by Miles George scoring 51 and Shepherd Cradic at 52. These scores highlighted the individual efforts from the Trojans under sunny skies and light wind conditions, which were favorable for the golf play. Alongside these performances, Trojans golfer Owen Zhang was noted for his significant improvement, achieving a score that was 10 shots better than his previous match, signaling his rapid development over the season.

Looking ahead, the Trojans are set to meet Granville Christian on September 4 as they continue their season. Currently, their record stands at 1 win and 2 losses in MOCAL play. This upcoming meet will provide an opportunity for the Trojans to make strides in their season performance and further build upon their player developments.
