PATASKALA, Ohio — Tree of Life Christian School extended its winning streak to four games Wednesday night, using a dominant first-quarter surge to cruise past Liberty Christian 60-20 in MOCAL boys basketball action at Liberty Christian Academy.

The Trojans broke the game open early with a decisive 24-4 run in the opening period, seizing control on both ends of the floor and never allowing the hosts to recover. The early burst provided more than enough cushion as Tree of Life maintained its defensive intensity and controlled the tempo throughout the contest to secure the conference victory.

Sophomore guard Parker Haman led the Trojans’ attack with a game-high 16 points, highlighted by a key stretch in the second quarter when he knocked down three consecutive 3-point field goals. Haman’s perimeter shooting stretched Liberty Christian’s defense and turned a comfortable lead into a commanding advantage before halftime.

Jesse Kanu added 14 points for Tree of Life, energizing the Trojans with two highlight-reel dunks that punctuated the team’s transition game. Kanu’s finishes at the rim, combined with Haman’s outside shooting, gave the Trojans a balanced scoring punch that Liberty Christian struggled to contain.

Defensively, the Trojans set the tone by limiting Liberty Christian’s opportunities in the half court and turning stops into fast-break chances. The 20 points allowed reflected Tree of Life’s sustained pressure and execution on that end of the floor, as the Trojans consistently contested shots, controlled the glass and disrupted passing lanes.

With the 60-20 result, Tree of Life not only pushed its winning streak to four but also gained further momentum in MOCAL play. The Trojans’ early 24-4 run, Haman’s second-quarter shooting spree and Kanu’s explosive finishes underscored a performance that keeps the team trending upward as conference action continues.
