Tree of Life Christian School’s Trojans rolled to a 3-0 road victory over Grandview Heights on Thursday night, winning 25-15, 25-11, 25-16. The straight-set win showcased the Trojans’ steady serving, efficient attack and control of the match from the opening points.

The Trojans set the tone early in the first set, building separation with consistent pressure from the service line and clean finishing at the net. That edge only grew in the second set, when Tree of Life turned in its most dominant stretch of the night in a 25-11 decision. By the third set, the Trojans kept the momentum in hand and closed out the sweep, 25-16, to finish off an impressive all-around performance.

Two players were especially sharp from the service line. Bryan Paniagua and Jordan Barnett did not miss a serve all night, helping the Trojans maintain rhythm and keep Grandview Heights out of system. That reliability gave Tree of Life the kind of steady foundation that can swing an entire match, especially during key runs within each set.

The Trojans also got standout efficiency in the attack. Calvin Spitznagle posted a .600 hitting percentage, a strong mark that reflected both smart shot selection and crisp execution. Pete Mandeville added a .500 hitting percentage, giving Tree of Life another productive option and helping the Trojans capitalize when rallies tilted their way. Additionally, in a surprise turn of events, Miles George had 8 assist attempts and 2 assists.

For the Trojans, the night was a reminder of what the group can look like when the serve game is clean and the offense is clicking. A sweep on the road is always worth savoring, and Tree of Life earned this one with poise from the first set to the last.
