COLUMBUS, Ohio - Tree of Life Christian School swept Granville Christian 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 6, winning 25-6, 25-16, 25-16 at home. Strong serving set the tone for the Trojans, who maintained control of all three sets and used several lineup changes during the victory.
The Trojans delivered their most decisive result in the opening set, holding Granville Christian to six points while building a one-set advantage. That 25-6 start established the pattern for the match: pressure from the service line paired with contributions from multiple attackers. Tree of Life carried that approach into the next two sets.
Libby Homkes provided a standout all-around performance with eight aces and eight kills. Her production gave the Trojans scoring options both from the service line and in the attack. The eight aces were a key part of a strong serving performance that helped Tree of Life dictate the match.
Abby Sanders added 10 kills and 12 digs, while Allie Coleman contributed nine kills. Those performances, powered byMegan Donnally's 16 assists, gave the Trojans several productive options at the net.
Granville Christian scored 16 points in each of the final two sets, but Tree of Life finished both with nine-point margins to complete the sweep.
