COLUMBUS, Ohio - Tree of Life Christian School (High School) swept West Jefferson 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 27, in a district semifinal volleyball match. The Trojans won all three sets by at least seven points.

Each set began with close, back-and-forth play before Tree of Life pulled decisively ahead in the second half. The Trojans took the opener 25-18, then widened the final margin in the second set with a 25-15 victory. West Jefferson again stayed close early in the third, but Tree of Life separated down the stretch to finish the sweep with another 25-16 win.

Allie Coleman led the Trojans' attack with 14 kills, while Libby Homkes supplied 13. Together, they accounted for 27 kills, giving Tree of Life two productive options at the net. Megan Donnally directed the offense with 31 assists as the Trojans turned three competitive starts into straight-set victories.

Abby Sanders added pressure from the service line, recording six aces across 26 serves. Her serving complemented the production of Coleman and Homkes, with Tree of Life earning points both from the line and through its attack.

Emily Thorne anchored the defensive effort with 15 digs. Donnally contributed beyond her setting role as well, finishing with 14 digs to give the Trojans a second double-digit defensive performance alongside her 31-assist outing.

Tree of Life continues on to the District Final on Saturday, October 31 at 2pm at Central Crossing High School against the winner of the Fairbanks vs. East Knox game happening Wednesday, October 28 at 6pm.
