Broncos Post 10 Personal Records at Platteville
UNION GROVE, Wis. - Union Grove High School’s cross country team recorded 10 personal records at its meet in Platteville on Saturday, Oct. 3, with Benjamin placing ninth and Xander finishing 13th in the Large School Division. The individual finishes and personal bests highlighted an overnight trip for the Broncos.
Benjamin earned a top-10 finish, while Xander also placed among the division’s top 15. Those performances gave Union Grove two notable individual results alongside the broader collection of personal records. The Broncos’ highlights extended beyond their leading finishers, with 10 runners improving on their previous best marks.
Sam Antonneau, Aila Johnson, Aubree Krueger and Natalija Milicevic each established a personal record. Abe Ackley and Jameson Kaufman also posted personal bests, contributing to a meet marked by individual improvement across the roster. The event began at 9 a.m. under clear skies, with a temperature of 54 degrees and winds of 7 mph.
Parker Newland, Jaxxon Silvasi, Xander Stulo and Benjamin Thomason rounded out the group of personal-record performances. Together, the 10 improved marks supplied the Broncos with a substantial set of individual accomplishments from the trip. Union Grove finished the meet with both top-15 Large School Division results and personal bests from all 10 runners identified among its record-setting performances.
