DaPra’s Hat Trick Lifts Broncos Past Westosha Central on Senior Night
UNION GROVE, Wis. - Cam DaPra scored all three goals to lead Union Grove High School past Westosha Central 3-1 in a conference soccer match Tuesday, Oct. 13. The victory came on senior night, giving the Broncos a winning result to go along with the occasion.
DaPra supplied the Broncos’ entire scoring total, finishing with a hat trick in a match decided by two goals. His three-goal performance gave Union Grove the offense it needed to overcome Westosha Central’s lone goal. With no other Broncos scorer needed to account for the final tally, DaPra was the central individual contributor to the victory and the difference between the teams on the scoreboard.
Union Grove paired that scoring production with a one-goal concession against its conference opponent. Westosha Central got on the board but finished with one-third of the Broncos’ goal total. The final result combined a productive attacking night for DaPra with a limited scoring return for the opposition, allowing Union Grove to finish senior night with a clear two-goal margin rather than a single-goal decision.
The Broncos now have a short turnaround, with another match scheduled two days after their conference victory. Union Grove plays Kenosha Bradford next on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m.
