Hage Has Another Strong Performance On The Mound.
Both teams were strong on the bump on Friday, but Union Grove defeated Badger 2-0. Kody Hage started the game for Union Grove Varsity Broncos and recorded 21 outs. Union Grove got on the board in the fourth inning after Drew Dinauer doubled, scoring one run. Hage opened the game for the Broncos. The pitcher gave up four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking none. Gavin Stewart stepped on the bump first for Badger. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five and walking three. Leo Weist, Tucker Katterhagen, Hage, Cooper Dye, Dinauer, and Kevin Brau each collected one hit for Union Grove. Dinauer and Brau each drove in one run for Union Grove Varsity Broncos.
