Union Grove’s Broncos women’s basketball team turned a three-point halftime deficit into a convincing road win Saturday night, clamping down defensively in the second half to defeat The Prairie School 59-33 at The Prairie School.

Trailing 22-19 at the break, the Broncos adjusted on both ends of the floor and controlled the final two quarters. Union Grove held The Prairie School to just 12 points after halftime, using pressure defense and strong rebounding to limit clean looks while turning stops into transition opportunities. The shift in intensity swung the game’s momentum decisively in favor of the visitors.

Offensively, guard Camryn Smith led the surge, finishing with a game-high 23 points to pace the Broncos’ attack. Smith consistently attacked the basket, drawing contact, finishing through traffic and igniting Union Grove’s second-half run.
