Tucker’s Four Touchdowns Lead Broncos to 40-7 Win Over Beloit Memorial
UNION GROVE, Wis. - Union Grove High School built a 40-0 halftime lead behind Nathan Tucker’s four rushing touchdowns and defeated Beloit Memorial 40-7 in conference football Friday, Oct. 9. Every player on the Broncos’ roster got into the game.
Tucker finished with 102 rushing yards on just eight carries, averaging 12.75 yards per attempt. His four long touchdown runs accounted for 24 points, and half of his carries ended in the end zone. That production fueled a rushing attack responsible for five of Union Grove’s six touchdowns.
Jonte Everett supplied the other rushing touchdown, while Justin Williamson added a score on special teams. Williamson returned a punt 49 yards for a touchdown, giving the Broncos a scoring contribution beyond their ground game. All six touchdowns came before halftime as Union Grove established its decisive advantage.
The Broncos’ defense held Beloit Memorial scoreless through the first two quarters, matching the offense’s productive opening half. Beloit Memorial scored seven points after halftime, while Union Grove added none. The second-half scoring reduced the margin to 33 points but left the Broncos’ early lead intact.
The wide margin allowed Union Grove to extend participation throughout the roster in a conference victory featuring touchdowns from three players. Tucker led the scoring, with Everett and Williamson each contributing six points. The Broncos play Badger in their next contest on Friday, Oct. 16.
