Union Grove Falls 2-1 to Muskego in One-Goal Match
Union Grove High School fell 2-1 to Muskego on Thursday, with Muskego’s second goal providing the decisive margin. The Broncos found the net once but could not produce the additional finish needed to extend or turn the match.
The result reflected a narrow difference on the scoreboard. Union Grove remained within one goal, keeping the outcome close while working against a Muskego side that converted two scoring chances. With no room for another concession, the Broncos’ defensive effort kept the team in contention and gave the attack a chance to pursue an equalizer.
Union Grove’s goal highlighted the Broncos’ ability to break through against Muskego, but the hosts protected their advantage and closed out the victory. Individual goal, assist and goalkeeper statistics were not available, leaving the final score as the clearest measure of a tightly decided match.
The Broncos will look to turn the close result into progress as they continue their varsity schedule. Union Grove returns home to face Burlington at 6:30 p.m. CDT Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026.
