Union Grove High School Broncos Face Tough Match Against Mukwonago in Volleyball
In a challenging regular season volleyball match up at Mukwonago High School on October 2, 2025, the Union Grove High School Broncos were defeated by Mukwonago High School girls Varsity with a final score of 0-3. Despite the loss, the Broncos displayed commendable performances, particularly from standout players such as Natalie Dallmann, Alinia Pitts, and Piper Sendelbach. The match commenced with the Mukwonago team taking the lead in the first set, securing a 25-19 victory. The Broncos struggled to counter Mukwonago's strong gameplay, which continued into the second and third sets, both ending with scores of 25-17 in favor of Mukwonago. Junior outside hitter Natalie Dallmann was particularly noted for her aggressive attacks (6 kills) against Mukwonago's effective blockers. Alaina Pitts was the top scorring attacker with 7 kills. Sophomore DS Piper Sendelbach also received praise for her exceptional defensive plays in right back, contributing significant digs throughout the match. The event also served as a platform for a noble cause, enhancing the community's fight against breast cancer with a fundraising event held alongside the match. The successful event contributed significantly to local breast cancer support efforts, rallying substantial community support and spirit. Together, the schools raised and donated $2,175 to Savage Support.
