Union Grove High School Broncos Fall to Wilmot Panthers in Regular Season Volleyball Clash
In a challenging road game on October 14, 2025, the Union Grove High School Broncos varsity boys' volleyball team faced off against the Wilmot High School Panthers in Wilmot. The Broncos, despite a vigorous effort, fell 1-3 to the Panthers in a regular season matchup.
The first set saw the Broncos putting up a strong fight but narrowly losing with a score of 22-25. Progressing into the second set, the Panthers maintained their momentum to extend their lead, defeating the Broncos 25-17. The Broncos rallied back in the third set, convincingly winning 25-14. However, in the fourth and final set, the Panthers overpowered Union Grove to clinch the match with a 25-15 victory, sealing their overall win.
Key players for Union Grove included Tyler Johnson, who led with 14 kills, Caden Tajnai with 11 kills and a block, and Evan Henderson contributing 7 kills.
