In a pivotal Southern Lakes Conference soccer clash, the Union Grove High School Broncos men's varsity team delivered an impressive performance against the Waterford Wolverines, securing a 4-0 victory on their home turf under cool, clear skies on September 30, 2025.
The Broncos showcased their dominance early in the game, with star player Niall Hagen scoring two quick goals in the 4th and 5th minutes, setting a vigorous pace. This explosive start was indicative of the Broncos' strategic play, which consistently overwhelmed the Wolverines' defenses. By halftime, Union Grove maintained a comfortable 2-0 lead.
In the second half, Hagen completed his hat-trick with a third goal at the 61st minute, further cementing the Broncos' lead.
