In a non-conference varsity soccer game, held at home on a cool Thursday night, the Union Grove High School Broncos secured a decisive 2-0 victory over the Menomonee Falls Phoenix on September 4, 2025.
The first half of the game saw both teams defending vigorously, resulting in a 0-0 score at halftime. As the second half commenced, the Broncos came out with renewed vigor. In the 47th minute, Ethan Barsch, wearing jersey number 11, broke the deadlock with a goal assisted by Owen Sheahan. This pivotal moment set the tone for the rest of the match. Adding to the Broncos' lead, Niall Hagen, sporting jersey number 9, successfully converted a penalty kick in the 70th minute, solidifying their lead at 2-0.
