Union Grove High School Broncos Shine at Parker Invite

The Union Grove High School Broncos showcased their skills at the Parker Invite on September 13, 2025, at the Janesville Riverside Golf Course. The Broncos were among teams from schools across the region, including Middleton and Brookfield Central, among others. The Broncos' performance was highlighted by several outstanding individual scores. Alana Keevers led the team with a score of 80. She demonstrated remarkable consistency, particularly over her last 15 holes where she went 5-over. Following her was Aubrey Young with a score of 94, noted for her excellent ball striking throughout the round. Both Chelsea Haertel and Abby Waterworth overcame slow starts to anchor the team with scores of 96 each. The youngest team member, Adeline Dobrinska, also put up a valiant effort with a score of 115. The tournament saw Middleton dominating with a team score of 317, closely followed by Brookfield Central with 333. The individual standout of the tournament was Abbie Welch from Brookfield Central, who topped the scorer's list with an impressive 70. Union Grove's coach expressed satisfaction with the team's performance, emphasizing improved composure and execution under pressure compared to previous outings. Looking forward, the Broncos are set to participate in the Racine County Invite on the upcoming Monday, hoping to build on their strong showing at the Parker Invite.
