Union Grove High School Broncos Sweep Wilmot in Conference Tennis Meet
In a dominant display of tennis skills, the Union Grove High School Broncos decisively beat Wilmot High School with a 7-0 victory on September 9, 2025. The conference dual meet, held in Wilmot, showcased strong performances across both singles and doubles matches, underscoring the Broncos' prowess in high school girls tennis.
The Union Grove Broncos impressed in singles with standout performances. Cam Smith in #1 singles posted a perfect victory, winning 6-0, 6-0. Similarly, Lorelei Nelson at #2 singles powered through her Wilmot opponent with the same scores. Elli Duval continued the winning trend in #3 singles with a nearly flawless 6-0, 6-1 victory, while Emma Santarelli at #4 singles concluded the singles whitewash with 6-0, 6-0.
Doubles teams also excelled, with Brooke Spang and Morgan Stewart at #1 leading with a robust 6-0, 6-0 victory. The effectiveness of the Broncos' gameplay was further confirmed in the #2 doubles, where Sophie Madden and Addy Callewaert secured a 6-1, 6-2 win.
