Union Grove High School Men’s Varsity Soccer Secures Victory Against Badger

The Union Grove High School Broncos triumphed in a Southern Lakes Conference soccer game on September 2, 2025. Held at their home ground, Union Grove High School, the Broncos faced off against the Badgers from Badger High School in a match that ended with a decisive 4-1 victory for the home team.

The game began with an aggressive start from the Broncos, as Niall Hagen quickly found the net in the 8th minute, setting an energetic tone. Assists were a pivotal part of the game with Ethan Barsch assisting Hagen for his first goal. Hagen's prowess continued with another goal, following his initial at the 12-minute mark. Midway through the first half at minute 24, Cam DaPra scored a noteworthy goal via a header, further solidifying the Broncos' lead. At halftime, the scoreboard read favorably for Union Grove at 3-1.

The second half saw sustained dominance by Union Grove, marked by tight defense and strategic passing. Cam DaPra capped off the scoring with his second goal of the match, bringing the end-game tally to 4-1. Goalkeeper Finn Jacobs played a crucial role, ensuring the Broncos’ lead was well protected throughout the game.

Union Grove High School is preparing to host Menomonee Falls on September 4, 2025, continuing their impressive season with a 3-0 record thus far. As the Broncos build on their winning streak, players like Niall Hagen and Cam DaPra remain key figures, looking forward to their next encounter at their home venue.
