Union Grove loses 2-0 despite a strong pitching effort from Hage

Both teams were strong on the hill on Friday, but Westosha Central was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 2-0 victory over Union Grove Broncos. Kody Hage started the game for Union Grove Varsity Broncos and recorded 18 outs. Westosha Central got on the board in the top of the third inning after Union Grove committed an error, and Charlie Dietz grounded out, each scoring one run. Hage took the loss for Union Grove Varsity Broncos. The righty went six innings, surrendering two runs (zero earned) on four hits, striking out eight and walking none. Killian Helt, Cooper Dye, and Dominic Pascucci each collected one hit for Union Grove Varsity Broncos.
