UNION GROVE, Wis. - Union Grove Girls Volleyball controlled the match from start to finish Wednesday night sweeping Wilmot 3-0. The Broncos won 25-13, 25-14 and 25-8, pairing aggressive attacks with consistent energy across all three sets.
The Broncos established the tone in the opening set and carried it through the entire night. Strong serve receive helped Union Grove stay organized and create attacking opportunities, while its work at the net disrupted Wilmot’s offense. The 25-13 result gave the Broncos an early advantage and a foundation they carried through the remainder of the match.
Union Grove remained steady in the second set, limiting the effect of Wilmot’s scrappy play and keeping scrappy returns alive. The Broncos’ defense extended exchanges, and their blocking added pressure at the net. Those efforts produced another comfortable margin as Union Grove took the set 25-14 and moved within one set of the sweep. The final set score was 25-8.
