Union Grove Sweeps Wilmot 7-0 as Stewart, Bournoville Win Fifth Straight

UNION GROVE, Wis. - Union Grove swept Wilmot 7-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 8, as the Broncos won every match in straight sets and improved to 4-1 in conference play. Morgan Stewart and Brooke Bournoville led the complete team performance with another commanding victory at No. 1 doubles.

Stewart and Bournoville opened their match with a 6-0 set before completing a 6-2 victory. The result extended their winning streak to five matches and gave Union Grove a dependable point at the top of the doubles lineup. The pair surrendered only two games in the match, maintaining control from the opening set through the finish.

The same consistency carried throughout the Union Grove lineup. All seven positions produced straight-set victories, preventing Wilmot from forcing a third set anywhere in the dual. The Broncos collected each available team point and completed the conference shutout without dropping a set.
