Union Grove placed four golfers among the top five and defeated Wilmot Union 175-215 on Aug. 24, 2026, at Ives Grove Golf Links. Grove,Alana,Keevers led the Broncos with a match-low 38 to earn medalist honors, while Chelsea Grove Haertel finished second with a 42.
The top two rounds gave Union Grove an eight-stroke advantage over Wilmot Union's lowest score before the remaining counting scores were added. Grove,Abby,Waterworth tied for third overall with a 46, and Adeline Grove Dobrinska placed fifth with a 49 to complete the Broncos' four-player total. Those rounds of 38, 42, 46 and 49 combined for the winning score of 175.
Union Grove's depth extended beyond its counting lineup. Grove,Aubrey,Young shot a 53 and finished sixth overall. Although that round did not count toward the team total, it was two strokes lower than Wilmot Union's second-best score and would have ranked among the visitors' four counting rounds.
Union,Ellie,Dixon paced Wilmot Union with a 46, tying Grove,Abby,Waterworth for third place. Union,Kennedy,Hayes followed with a 55, Union,Kaileigh,Cantwell carded a 56 and Elle Union Drissel added a 58. Wilmot Union's four counting scores totaled 215. Clare Union Drissel finished with a 61, which was the team's non-counting score.
The Broncos claimed the top two individual positions and won by 40 strokes, with all four of their counting golfers breaking 50. Grove,Alana,Keevers's 38 set the pace, and Haertel's 42 strengthened a balanced performance that carried Union Grove to first place in the match.
