It came down to the wire on Saturday, as the Broncos grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 3-2, over Catholic Memorial Crusaders. A wild pitch extended the Catholic Memorial Crusaders lead to 2-0 in the top of the third inning. Leo Weist grounded into a fielder's choice, which helped Union Grove tie the game at two in the bottom of the fifth. Kevin Brau earned the win for the Broncos. The right-handed pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking two. Evan Northup stepped on the hill first for Union Grove Broncos. The starter allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out five and walking two. Luke Drummond threw one inning of scoreless ball for the Broncos in relief. The hurler surrendered one hit, striking out none and walking none. Jude Rogowski and Dominic Pascucci each collected two hits for Union Grove. Kody Hage, Weist, and Dye each drove in one run for the Broncos. Union Grove Broncos turned one double play in the game.
