Bay Boys Tennis finished third Tuesday at the CWC Tournament, led by a runner-up showing from Blaise Linsenmeyer and Nate Trnavsky at first doubles and top-five finishes across both singles and doubles play at Veterans Memorial Park in Parma.
The Rockets' strongest result came at first doubles, where Linsenmeyer and Trnavsky advanced to the championship match before finishing as tournament runners-up. Bay also received podium finishes in singles from Martin Hausler and Sacha Jones. Hausler placed third at first singles, while Jones took third at second singles, giving Bay two more high finishes in a deep field.
Bay added more scoring depth with Callum Moss earning fifth place at third singles in his first CWC tournament appearance. At second doubles, Beckett LaVogue and Ethan Elek also finished fifth, helping round out a balanced day for the Rockets across the lineup.
That combination of a finals appearance, two third-place singles finishes and additional top-five placements pushed Bay to third in the overall team standings. The results reflected contributions from every part of the Rockets' lineup, with both singles and doubles flights producing key points over the course of the tournament.
The tournament was held under clear skies with temperatures in the low 70s at Veterans Memorial Park, located at 6328 Loya Parkway in Parma. Bay's finish showed both high-end performance at the top of the bracket and enough depth to stay in contention throughout the day, especially with Moss making a solid debut and the first doubles team reaching the final.
