Bay Boys Tennis picked up its second win of the season Friday, edging the Patriots 3-2 at Veterans Memorial Park in Parma.

The Rockets got the decisive result from first doubles, where Nate Trnavsky and Callum Moss secured the team victory with a straight-sets win. Their performance delivered the clinching point in a tightly contested match and helped Bay leave with the narrow road win.

Bay also controlled the top two singles spots. Blaise Linsenmeyer turned in a strong outing at first singles, winning in straight sets, and Sacha Jones matched that effort with another straight-sets victory at second singles. Those two wins gave the Rockets a steady foundation and put Bay in position to close out the match in doubles play.

With three straight-sets victories across the lineup, Bay showed balance in both singles and doubles. The Rockets' top performers handled their courts efficiently, and that proved to be the difference in a match decided by a single team point.

The 3-2 result gives Bay another early-season boost as the Rockets continue to build momentum. Against the Patriots, the combination of singles wins from Linsenmeyer and Jones, along with the first-doubles finish from Trnavsky and Moss, supplied all the points Bay needed.
