LAKEWOOD, Ohio - Bay High School combined two strong singles victories with a three-set doubles comeback to defeat Lakewood 3-2 on Thursday. Blaire Glass had a commanding performance at first singles, winning 6-0, 6-0. Madeline Mahoney made a straight-sets victory at second singles winning 6-4, 7-5. The second-doubles team provided the Rockets’ most dramatic performance. Maura Mahoney and Mikayla Long lost the first set 6-4, but came back to win their match 6-2, 6-4.. The three victories gave Bay the 3-2 victory over Lakewood.
