Bay Village, Ohio - Blaire Glass earned a straight-set victory at first singles to provide Bay High School’s win in a 1-4 varsity girls tennis loss to Westlake on Monday, Aug. 17. The Rockets hosted the match at their home courts.
Bay’s strongest result came from Blaire Glass, who worked through a tight opening set before defeating her first-singles opponent 7-6, 6-2.
Savannan Keberdle represented the Rockets at second singles, while Madeline Mahoney played third singles. In doubles, Ella Schelzig and Elizabeth Steele teamed up in the first doubles and Maura Mahoney and Makayla Long teamed up second doubles.
