Bay High School’s varsity girls tennis team opened its home schedule against St. Joes on Monday, Aug. 10, falling 0-5 at Bay Village, Ohio. St. Joes earned three points in singles and two in doubles to complete the five-flight sweep under clear skies.
Blaire Glass played first singles, while Savannah Keberdle represented Bay at second singles. Madeline Mahoney completed the singles lineup in the third position.
Ella Schelzig and Elizabeth Steele partnered at first doubles, taking on the opponent’s top pairing. At second doubles, Maura Mahoney teamed with Mikayla Long.
