Bay High School Rockets Boys and Girls Teams Shine at Rocket Relays
In a remarkable display of teamwork and skill, Bay High School's Swimming & Diving teams made a substantial impact at the recent Rocket Relays. The boys' team secured a commendable 4th place, while the girls' team finished strong in 6th place. The boys' team boasted a series of standout performances, particularly shining in the 4x100 IM relay and the 200 Butterfly relay, both of which clinched first place. Swimmers Aaron Bernys, Ollie Brown, Peyton Meyers, and Luke Filiatraut displayed exceptional prowess, propelling their team to the top. Additionally, Junior John Allan and Sophomore Sam Farrar were instrumental across various relays, contributing significantly to the team's overall success. On the girls' side, the team demonstrated their competitive spirit with impressive 3rd place finishes in the 200 medley relay and the 200 Breaststroke relay. Swimmers Moriah Murtha, Lily Wavak, Ruby Render, Emery Ziemnik, Jen Harman, Gwynn Miller, and Lucy Rahm delivered remarkable performances, playing a pivotal role in their relays. The Rockets' achievements at the Rocket Relays are a testament to their hard work and dedication. Both teams have set high standards and look forward to building on this success in future competitions.
