Bay High School Rockets Celebrate Victory Over Padua Bruins in Cold, Wet Lacrosse Showdown

In a thrilling display of skill and determination, the Bay High School Rockets conquered the Padua Bruins with a final score of 13-9 at the Bay Memorial Stadium on April 10. Despite the challenging cold and wet conditions, the Rockets showcased their prowess throughout the regular season lacrosse game, bolstering their season record to 5-4.

The game was closely contested, with Bay leading 6-5 at halftime, but they ultimately pulled away in the second half to secure the win. Among the standout players, Grady Joyce, Vince Boushelle, and Rocco Ereditario each netted a hat-trick with three goals apiece. John Messmore followed with two goals, while Zavier Phinney and Beckett LaVogue contributed one goal each. Joyce and Ereditario also impressed with two assists each, indicating their pivotal roles in both scoring and setting up goals.

Sean Kraft held strong as the goalie, and the defensive line saw commendable performances from Aodhan Cunningham and Dylan Veselic, who were pivotal in thwarting the Bruins' attempts to turn the scoreline.
