Bay High School Rockets Clinch Victory in Tennis Match Against Rocky River Pirates

In an exhilarating display of talent and teamwork, the Bay High School Rockets secured a narrow 3-2 victory over the Rocky River Pirates in a crucial varsity boys tennis match held on April 29, 2025, at Bay. This match was a part of the competitive Cleveland West Conference, where both teams showed why they are considered top contenders.

Martin Hausler played a pivotal role in Bay's victory by winning his third singles match in straight sets. Notably, Martin remains undefeated in the conference, boosting the Rockets' morale as they move forward in the season. In doubles action, the Rockets' pairs Jacob Dwyer and Blaise Linsenmeyer at first doubles, along with Sacha Jones and Nate Trnavsky at second doubles, both won their matches in straight sets. Their coordinated efforts were instrumental in clinching the win for Bay High School.

The Rockets now look ahead to their next challenge at the Cleveland West Conference Tournament scheduled for May 2, 2025, at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Parma. With a current record of 5-3, the Rockets are gearing up to further their success and performance in the ongoing season.
