Bay High School Rockets Clinch Victory Over Twinsburg Tigers in Hockey Showdown

In a thrilling regular season hockey confrontation at the Dan Kostal Arena in Garfield Hts, the Bay High School Rockets secured a commanding 3-1 victory over the Twinsburg Tigers on December 20, 2024. The Rockets, led by standout player Jackson Murton, demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the game.

The match kicked off with the Rockets gaining an early lead, finishing the first period at 1-0. The momentum continued into the second period, where they extended their lead to 3-1. Jackson Murton shone brightly, scoring all three goals for the Rockets, completing a remarkable hat trick. His performance not only dazzled the fans but also secured the game-winning goal, proving pivotal in the Rockets' triumph.

Assistance came in the form of precise and strategic plays from Britt Marriott and Carsten Stofcheck, who set up the first two goals, while Brendan Marriott assisted the third, ensuring a solid offensive front. Defensively, goaltender Braeden Egan was a fortress, stopping 18 shots and playing a crucial role in keeping the Tigers at bay.

With this win, the Rockets now hold a season record of 3-3-2. Eyes are now set on their next challenge as they prepare to face Lakewood at the Winterhurst Ice Arena on December 22, 2024. The Rockets look to build on their recent success and continue their push for a strong finish to the season.
