Bay High School Rockets Dominate in 7-1 Victory Over Cleveland Hts. Tigers
Bay High School's hockey team, the Rockets, delivered an impressive performance at Winterhurst Ice Arena on January 12, defeating the Cleveland Hts. Tigers with a decisive 7-1 score in their regular season clash.
The Rockets set the tone early, ending the first period with a commanding 3-1 lead with goals from J.R. Kenney, Carsten Stofcheck, and Jackson Murton. The momentum continued into the second period with another goal from J.R. Kenney, widening the gap to 4-1. The final period saw the Rockets seal their victory as Murray Oldham, Kenney (completing a hat trick), and Will Waters each found the net, bringing the game to a resounding close at 7-1.
Key plays were supported through important assists from Waters, Murton, Alex Gadbois, and Cammy Stojic, contributing to the team's dynamic offense. Goalie Breaden Egan was a significant barrier to the Tigers, making 27 solid saves throughout the game.
