Bay High School Rockets Drop Home Contest Against SFDS Stallions in Lacrosse Clash

In a challenging regular season lacrosse face-off, the Bay High School Rockets fell short against the St. Francis De Sales High School Stallions with a final score of 18-7 at the Bay Memorial Stadium on April 12, 2025. Despite a spirited effort, the Rockets could not bridge the halftime gap, having trailed 13-4 by mid-game.

The Rockets' performance featured notable contributions from Gracie Fitchpatrick, who led the team with 3 goals, followed by Layla Meaux with 2 goals. Hadley Clark and Jill Tennant also contributed to the scoring, adding a goal each. In terms of assists, Avery Schriner, Gracie Fitchpatrick, and Carlin Biondi each recorded one assist, showcasing a collective effort on the offensive front.

Defensively, goalie Sophia Crimaldi was resilient in the net, managing to secure 4 saves throughout the contest. Her efforts, although valiant, were overshadowed by the strong offensive push from the Stallions.

Looking forward, the Rockets aim to bounce back in their next game on April 16, 2025, against the Medina Battling Bees at Medina High School. As the Rockets prepare to improve their current season record of 5-5, the team remains focused on refining their strategies and performance. The upcoming game presents an opportunity for the Rockets to redeem themselves and add a victory to their record.
