Bay High School Rockets Face Off Against Magnificat in a Chilly Lacrosse Battle

In a gritty regular season lacrosse encounter, the varsity girls' team of Bay High School faced their rivals, Magnificat, on April 1, 2025, at the Bay Memorial Stadium. Despite a valiant effort, the Bay Rockets fell short, losing 9-12 to the Magnificat Streaks in chilly conditions.

The game kicked off with intensity as both teams fought hard to gain the upper hand. By halftime, the Rockets were trailing by a narrow margin, with the scoreboard reading Bay 6, Magnificat 7. Layla Meaux led the scoring drive for Bay High with three goals, supported effectively by Gracie Fitchpatrick and Jill Tennant, who added two goals each. Hadley Clark also contributed significantly with two goals.

In terms of assists, Gracie Fitchpatrick displayed excellent playmaking skills with three assists. Layla Meaux and Hadley Clark helped set up further opportunities with two and one assists, respectively, while Carlin Biondi added another assist to the tally.
