Bay High School Rockets Face Tough Loss Against Avon Eagles in Lacrosse Challenge
BAY VILLAGE, OH—In a challenging regular season lacrosse clash at Bay Memorial Stadium on April 8, 2025, the Bay High School Rockets faced a tough defeat against the Avon Eagles, concluding with a score of 12-4 in favor of Avon. The cold weather did not deter the competitive spirit but ultimately, the Eagles soared high leaving the Rockets to reassess and strategize for their next games.
Despite the unfavorable halftime score of 7-1 against them, the Bay Rockets showed resilience. Vince Boushelle led the scoring efforts for Bay, netting three goals, while Rocco Ereditario also contributed with a goal and an assist. Zavier Phinney added another assist to Bay’s tally. Goalie Sean Kraft was a key player, guarding the Bay’s net throughout the game.
The Rockets now stand at a 4-4 record for the season. They look to bounce back in their next match at home against Padua on April 10, 2025. With determination and home ground advantage, the Rockets are preparing to launch into their next encounter with renewed vigor and strategy.
