The Bay High School Men's Varsity Soccer team, known as the Rockets, delivered a stunning performance in their regular season home opener against the Lexington Minute Men on August 16, 2025, at Bay High School. During a sunny afternoon, the Rockets secured a decisive 8-1 victory. From the outset, the Rockets demonstrated their dominance, quickly gaining a lead with a goal from Weston Matty. This was followed by Jonah Czarnecki and Nico Jameson, who also found the back of the net, contributing significantly to the team's success. Among the standout moments was the establishment of a running clock early in the second half due to the Rockets maintaining a 6-goal difference. By halftime, the Rockets were comfortably in control, with a score 4-0.
