Bay High School Rockets Participate in Flamingo Frenzy Golf Tournament

The Bay High School varsity girls golf team competed in the prestigious 'Flamingo Frenzy' golf tournament held on August 12, 2025, at the Ridgewood Golf Course. The tournament saw the Rockets facing off against several regional teams including Hudson, Magnificat, St Joseph Academy, Rocky River, Olmsted Falls, and Hathaway Brown. Over the course of the 18-hole stroke play event, the Rockets posted a team score of 374, securing the 16th position out of the 29 teams that participated. The tournament showcased strong individual performances from Bay High School's golfers. Leading the charge for the Rockets was Charlotte Fox, who scored an impressive 88, followed by Cannon Conley with a score of 92. Other notable players were Annabel Sjoberg and Caroline Kousaie, who finished with scores of 94 and 100 respectively, while Hope Rankin rounded out the team's top performances with a 105. The ‘Flamingo Frenzy’ stands as a key competition on the Bay High School's seasonal calendar, providing the varsity girls golf team with valuable experience against high-caliber opponents in a competitive environment.
